MEET SARA
your visual problem-solver
A momma, an engineer and a photographer, Sara began her love for photography as a child watching her mom photograph wildlife in Lake County. She grew up exploring the world riding horses, dirt bikes, snowboarding, wakeboarding and spending most of her young life outdoors.
She never thought photography could actually pan out as a real job so she packed her bags and headed for Shasta County out of high school. There, she attended Shasta College, then Chico State for a Bachelors in Engineering.
After graduating, she picked up a 'big girl' camera and started capturing love stories in her own way. What began as an 'everything' photography side gig, for her has grown and refined itself as a Northern California wedding photography business.
When she's not shooting weddings, she's working her 'day job' as a Civil Engineer and loving on her family: her sweet baby girl, handsome husband, two dogs and a cat. She dreams to provide her family with a life rich in experiences and full of love.

THE WILDLY RYE MANIFESTO
AN ODE TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM TO BE
I believe that a wedding day isn’t one big event but a series of several small and very important events stacked into a single day that together make up a life changing event. I believe in peeling back the layers that make up your wedding day. I believe in creativity, in moving beyond what meets the eye and reading between the pixels of an image. I believe in serving my clients with love & compassion, the same way my clients have shown me their own love for my work. I believe that some images aren’t meant to be crisp, but grainy or choppy, or black & white and that those images could tell the bigger story, but I’ll strive for laser sharp images anyways. I believe in the softness spoke by grandparents, and the gentle hugs just as I also believe in the joy of an open bar & a good DJ or band. I believe that a wedding day isn’t just the joining of two people hopelessly in love, it’s the joining of their friends & families, and that matters too and I believe there are stories to be told, lots of stories, and I am here to tell them.
